After the Adidas king of the road 2009 held in Taguig last October 25, 2009 i then remembered my first ever KOTR (king of the road) run. By the way KOTR 2009 is only my 2nd. lol!
Dejavu
Like my first, I'm with my fellow mountaineers but this time - in manila. These people I tag as Accenture freelance mountaineers or Accenture united. :)
Looking back at my first KOTR in 2007 (in Davao), I'm with my Tribung Mindanaw Mountaineering Club family. That was my first ever serious run in college after a long long legs-feet idle time(in running). That time I'm already a full fledge member as what they call it. (o.t.: i have to undergo series of trainings and climbs to be accepted - I'll be talking about that in detail in my next entries). Thanks to Sherwin(6404) and (Sir) Pidor(the one in shades) who helped me out in promoting the event for the club. :)

That was the theme of the KOTR 2007. We loved the pain from training to the race. How did I train? twice a week I run from Cabantian to Acacia (that was about 7Kms). Then joining the training activities held by my co-mountaineers (in school at acacia st.) for the new aspirants. They usually have it by 7am so I run as early as 5:30am just to catch up with them. The club had a blog entry for this 2 years ago - read it here.

TRIMMOC had an adventure team before(i joined in the club) that includes (Sir) Pidor. But that team lied low. It was years ago i believe - lol! The time i learned about that story the idea of reviving the team or forming another team came into my mind. And that was the start... I approached (Sir) Pidor why not join the KOTR? I told him that this maybe a jumping board of another adventure race team. Me and Sherwin we're actually finding opportunities to train and join races. Adidas King of the Road 2007 was the beginning. Adidas King of the road the first time.

As for your questions: first there are many free templates you can use but as I wrote in the post, choose one that is professional for long term gains, rather than carried away by looks only. besides this template my two other favorite templates are - Digital Statement Template and Chucky template . As for the second question – Patience is the key my friend, just Create great, unique and creative content (Posts) and be patient. I can understand your eagerness as a budding blogger as I have myself undergone through this phase. Think about it you are one of the billions of bloggers so why should a visitor come to your blog??? That is where original work comes into play. You can also refer to my “Blogging series of posts” where you can find step by step ways to build and promote your blog to become famous and have scores of visitors.
